Urinary incontinence is a loss in bladder control.

When an individual is unable to control the ability to urinate and there is an involuntary loss of urine, the person is said to have a urinary incontinence. This condition is called “leaky bladder” (Med Broadast,2018). Over the years researchers are trying to find out the underlying causes of incontinence, however, to have a deeper understanding of what incontinence is, one should have a knowledge of what is the pathophysiology of incontinence.
