On call at hospital called someone higher up to discuss the situation better? HOLDING- Reading the proceedings Dry. Mac Cool was not told all the conditions of the patient.
If the Dry. On call at the hospital did not like the call the Dry. Made he does have the right to call the supervisor that is higher up. REASON- The court had to look at all the material in front of them and make a decision and see if the hospital was responsible for the death of the young man.The court found that the appeal is to be reversed and remanded to the trial court for trial. Think that the parents are in the right in suing the hospital. There was a lot that was not handled correctly. Being in the medical field you have to document and cover your butt.
The Dry. Mac Cool was in the wrong and should have come to hospital and at least assess the patient and not just assume anything. He was not told of all the conditions of the patient and this is the ERE doctors fault. Think that whatever the parents are asking should be given.
