Kasauli, a cantonment and beautiful town. The hill station is located in Solan district, Himachal Pradesh. The cantonment area of Kasauli was established by the British Raj in 1842. Since then the place has been apprehended by tourists from all over the country. However, due to increasing urbanization, the land of beauty is slowly turning into waste grounds. To overcome this issue, the panchayat decided to adopt some measures to overcome the situation. Reduce the usage of wooden stove: Kasauli is a Hill station with plenty of wood present.
Wood stove used by people tend to generate excess amount of smoke into the environment which is harmful for health. Instead, people should start preparing food using appliances that are energy efficient and produce less cost, quick cooking too.Reduce usage of chemicals and pesticides: Kasauli has a wide number of people indulged in farming. Farmers need to lessen or at least try to get rid of maximum usage of chemicals and pesticides that directly pollute our green environment.
