Cervical Disc is one of the more vitally important andmechanically astounding skeletal structures, which allows a vast range ofmotion between the vertebrae in the neck, all the while absorbing large amountsof compression from regular movement. This paper displays a thorough survey andbasic examination for the vast majority late configuration and streamliningsystems for CD. In order to solve an optimization problem of an artificialdisc, various assessment parameters such as load, material and it is propertiesand geometry are explained and summarized. The selection of some of theseparameters is essentially to obtain an optimal combination for the artificialdisc. Based on the review, it is observed that the use of experimental resultsand validate data in the optimization problem improve the results compared tothe use of analytical solution only, but unfortunately a few author usedoptimization algorithms, as it is mention in tables (6 and 9 The greater partof the papers for CD framework are conveyed out In view of finite elementanalysis including selection of type of element, number of element andmechanical properties. However, Likewise a natural geometry, ROM and naturalmaterial are considering as the most important constrains, there is a need foreven much accurate and highly advanced optimization for selecting of artificialdisc replacement.
Therefore, to solve the complexity of this mechanism indeed ahybrid algorithms and more optimization algorithms with robust controller needto be apply for CD problems. Moreover, software computer tools are also usedwidely for designing of artificial CD. However, using modern technique,material and methods will provide more accurate optimization results than theregular software and the old tools as they have the ability to solvemulti-objective optimization problems. This paper reviews the main basicresearch methods and their corresponding applications in CD, aiming to let moreexperts know the current research status and also provide some guidance forrelevant researches. Based on previous studies FE method is the mostappropriate to follow. Moreover, on the proposed study the objective will be,to design and analysis a CD.
