However, small quantities of stress can have a positive affect to motivate and encourage people to be more productive.
Still everyone can agree that a great deal of stress can be very destructive to a person’s life. In today’s society the main causes of stress are produced from work, financial issues, and academic pressures. It is important to have the knowledge of common stresses so that people can devise a plan to overcome them. The workplace is a very common place to encounter stress because it is where people spend most of their day.

To most people their job is their life work considering they got educated or certified to do it. However, many obstacles in the workplace such as: difficult coworkers, deadlines, and strict management can generate stress to anyone. Working with other people always causes stress for the reason that people do not always see eye to eye. Financial issues is a major source that can cause stress because money is the foundation to how people live their daily lives. In today’s society, adults have a lot on their plate when it comes to finances and trying to make ends meet. This type of stress can be linked to debt, payments, and lack of money to spend on materialistic things; therefore, people become unhappy with themselves and try to find the easy way out. Stress like this can formulate symptoms such as: constant worrying or racing thoughts (Stress Symptoms, Signs, and Causes) Furthermore, it is important to use money management to decrease the potential of financial tress in the future. Sing good money management will also organize your way of spending and help establish a way to budget responsibly (2014 Research: Financial Stress). Lastly, academic pressure can be a major cause of stress. College is something many people look forward to when they graduate high school because it is a big transitional time in their lives where they can explore their freedom and curiosity. However, academic stress has become a big phenomenon to many scholars to research in last decade (Causes of Academic Stress).
In that time there have been more students seceding to go to college than ever before. College is very expensive and for many students they have the benefit of their parents help; however, that is not the case for numerous students around the country. It has been documented that students who have worried about finances for college range in the 40 percent margin (Northern). In addition, relationships are being established as soon as you begin college that can become unhealthy from sources like drugs or parties (Causes of Academic Stress).
These relationships can determine whether or not you stay focused or get put on academic arbitration. It is important to realize that grades are what keep you enrolled in the college. When students have these kind of stresses it can hinder their ability to achieve their academic goals and potentially diminish their plans for the future. It is obvious that too much stress is never good for anyone and impacts people negatively.

People can decrease the amount of stress they have by improving communication with others, learning how to manage time wisely, taking advantage of resources, and participating in decision making. Therefore, if people can identify the triggers of stress like financial, work, and academic pressures it will be easier for them to find a solution.
