The ITEM is just the upgraded form of Automatic Teller Machine (AT M) which provides customer live face to face conversation at ATM and allows bank to provide their customers the benefit of self-banking anywhere, anytime.
Interactive teller is equipped with remote teller, who can control the machine and its functions, leading to more personalized interactions. Interactive teller machine (ITEM) has changed the revolution of banking by bringing video banking service among us.You can aka deposits, withdrawals, transfers, loan payments, cash checks, and many more. There are no envelopes or forms to fill out and you don’t have to carry ATM cards and debit cards anymore, this concept has bought banking in the hands of customer.

Introduction to Interactive Teller Machine (ITEM) In early days ATM was the most advanced technology for banking, here banking means only to withdraw cash using ATM and other purpose like balance enquiry.But the invention of ATM having built in cameras, speakers and microphone, known as Interactive teller machine (ITEM) has changed the revolution of banking. You can make Customer authentication, cash deposits, check deposits, cash withdrawal, check print, account transfers, bill payments, account inquiries, process new accounts and many more. There are no envelopes or forms to fill out. It is modified form of Automatic Teller Machine (ATM).

Ins video cameras, image is transmitted to the Personal Teller located at centralized location. Cameras at centralized location transmit the Personal Teller’s image back to us.

Account transfers: Transferring account to another account is also possible using interactive teller.You need only proper identification and, you just have to insert your account number and account number to which you are going to transfer.
